Main Street Montana Project KIN’s Issue Recommendations

The Main Street Montana Project was initiated by the Bullock Administration to “develop a business plan” for Montana using expertise from the public sector.  Key Industry Networks were created reflecting relevant topic areas.  Participants in the KIN’s met over a period of time to gather input and develop recommendations that have or will be presented to the Governor.  Those recommendations could result in proposed legislation, modification to agency programs or procedures, or other outcomes.  Most KINs have completed their work.  There are three KIN’s of particular interest to TSRA members.  Those are the Energy-Utilities KIN, Food-Agriculture KIN and Natural Resource KIN.  The first two have posted their final recommendations, and the report from the Natural Resource KIN should be available soon.  Click on the following links to check out the current recommendations:  http://mainstreetmontanaproject.com/KINs/Energy-Utilities
